Our Mission

At Buzzsaw Wrestling Club, our mission is to empower Coeur d'Alene youth with confidence, life skills, and a life-long love of sports. We strive to provide a welcoming, fun, and hard-working environment where the fundamentals of wrestling set our children up for success in life. 


Buzzsaw Wrestling Club is a USA Wrestling Sanctioned Organization.

Buzzsaw Wrestling Club Winter 2025 Schedule

PRACTICES START March 2AT THE PACR ATHLETIC ROOM

  

  • ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
  • FIRST PRACTICE IS 03/02/2026
  • LAST PRACTICE IS 04/30/2026
  •  PRACTICE SCHEDULE (Tentative & Subject to Change):
    • Beginner/Youngers Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30–6:20 PM
    • Advanced/Olders Practiced: Mondays 5:30-6:45 PM, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30–7:45 PM 


 This season will be a mixture of Freestyle (FR) and Greco (GR), with some Folkstyle opportunities sprinkled in. It is strongly recommended that participating athletes have at least 2 years of Folkstyle experience before enrolling in a Freestyle and Greco season. Ages 6-14 (boys and girls) are invited to participate. Upgrading your athlete's USA wrestling card is mandatory for this style of wrestling (the club will do this for you). Your registration fee includes your USA wrestling card upgrade. The tournament schedule is still developing. 


  • Weigh-ins are required for wrestlers competing: must be completed at practice on or before Thursday of tournament week or at another satellite location.  
  • Fees: $25-$45 per wrestler per tournament. 
  • PARENTS MUST REGISTER CHILDREN FOR TOURNAMENTS. THE CLUB CANNOT DO THIS FOR USAW/TOA/I OPENS.

Mar 21-22 - Cradle for the Cure* (Boise, ID)

Mar 28–30 – Montana Open (Billings, MT)

Apr 4 - Bonners Ferry FS/G (Bonners Ferry, ID)

Apr 11 - Kings & Queens (Lakeland FS/G Rathdrum, ID)

Apr 9–12 – Reno World Championships (Reno, NV)*
